CD8A and clostridium difficile infection: Quantitative analysis indicated that in comparison to patients with low CDI, those with high CDI demonstrated significantly elevated levels of activated NK cells, M0 macrophages, resting dendritic cells, activated dendritic cells, resting mast cells, eosinophils, and neutrophils, while naive B cells, CD8 T cells, activated memory CD4 T cells, and M1 macrophages decreased (Figure 7C).
