INS and osteoarthritis: The study assessed a range of parameters, which included the impact of dual supplementation on hs-CRP levels as well as the influence on anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory cytokines, barrier function, osteoarthritis, glucose and insulin levels, the omega-3/omega-6 ratio in the blood, and levels of intestinal fatty acid binding protein (I-FABP). Additionally, exploratory aspects of the study encompassed conducting a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), measuring vitamin D blood levels, and analyzing short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) in fecal samples.
