Similar results have been found in another case report by Haya Jamali et al., in which they found that Ibrutinib can be remarkably effective in refractory cryoglobulinemia due to Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia with mutated MyD88, which may be attributed not only to its anti-tumor effect but also to its anti-inflammatory properties (14). This evidence concerns the gene MYD88 and cryoglobulinemia.
