CDCP1 is amenable to modulation by approved drug treatments: Itolizumab, which is used to treat psoriasis, disrupts CDCP1-CD6 binding and downregulates T-cell-mediated inflammation [25], whilst atomoxetine, a treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which is being considered for the treatment of mild cognitive impairment, reduced cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) CDCP1 levels [26]. This evidence concerns the gene CD6 and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.
