GPR55 and cancer: In accord, studies showed that cannabinoids can regulate osteoclasts, osteoblasts, and adipocytes in vitro and in vivo26 and, in particular, CB2 receptor agonists reduced cancer‐induced osteolytic destruction27 and CBD attenuated stimulatory effects on osteoclast induced by an activator of GPR55, a cannabinoid receptor, and reduced bone resorption in vivo in mice via modulation of GPR55 signaling.29
