It also clarified why patients with tumors that overexpressed the NEK2 gene and were associated with a higher percentage of somatic mutations had worse clinical outcomes than patients whose tumors expressed lower levels of NEK2 and why the overexpression NEK2 phenotype in the ccRCC cohort is significantly correlated with some clinical features, such as T stages and pathological stages.
