Further mechanistic experiments indicated that the ANO6-plasmid reduced Cys, GSH, and GPX4 levels as opposed to the control-plasmid group (Figure 6f–h), indicating that ANO6 (TMEM16F) inhibits GIST growth and induces ferroptosis in GIST-T1 cells.
