The results revealed that BMI (P < 0.001), dyslipidemia (P = 0.007), DFU with infection (P < 0.001), DPN (P < 0.001), DN (P < 0.001), SINBID score (P = 0.011), ABI (P < 0.001), CRP (P = 0.006), Hb (P < 0.001), Alb (P < 0.001), HbA1c (P < 0.001), and LOS (P < 0.001) might be potential risk factors of malnutrition. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and infection.
