We further investigated microarray data from the Microarray Innovations in Leukemia (MILE) study38 (n = 254; Figure S5A) and a pool of AML samples39,40,41 (high risk, n = 242, Figure S5B; and favorable/intermediate risk n = 1832, Figures S5C–S5E) and compared CD37 expression to that of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and differentiated myeloid cells from adult healthy BM.42 The gene discussed is CD37; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
