NF1 and autosomal dominant cerebellar ataxia: When this finding, which is supported by previous literature [10], is combined with the lack of ischemic complications seen in the peri- and post-operative period in both this cohort and previous reports [9, 18], it raises the possibility that the MMS variant associated with NF1 is a more benign pathology than MMS associated with other disease processes such as SCA.
