AKT1 and Tay-Sachs disease: The results displayed that the expression levels of p-PI3K/PI3K and p-AKT/AKT in rats with PD were significantly reduced by TSD, demonstrating that TSD may modulate the PI3K/AKT pathway by inhibiting the expression levels of related proteins to maintain cell survival, regulate platelet function and suppress cell apoptosis in uterine and ovarian tissues, thereby protecting the ovaries and uterus to achieve the purpose of treating PD.
