IL33 and infection: To investigate whether L. donovani–induced IL-33 signaling is also operative in the in vivo situation, infected mice were administered intraperitoneally either with INCA-6 or GN44028 with different doses (2.5, 5, 10, and 20 mg/kg body weight/day given up to 45 days at every 5 days starting at the 10th day postinfection) and spleen parasite burden was measured at 45 days after infection.
