SIRT3 and cardiac hypertrophy: This study revealed the protection conferred by BCW to SuHx- and CoCl2-induced H9c2 hypoxia cells in vivo and in vitro, as shown by the improved heart function, macro and micromorphology, and cardiac hypertrophy markers, which are associated with the improved fatty acid and glucose metabolism attained by activation of the SIRT3-HIF1α-PDK/PDH signaling pathway.
