The derepression of RIPK3 may reconcile the contribution of necroptosis in inflammatory disorders such as hepatocellular carcinoma (Vucur et al, 2023), acute myocardial infarction (Luedde et al, 2014), acute ischemic stroke (Degterev et al, 2005) and kidney ischemia-reperfusion injury (Linkermann et al, 2013). This evidence concerns the gene RIPK3 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
