It has been reported that albumin cells are important because of theiranti-inflammatory and anticoagulant features[4,25] and thathypoalbuminemia may be a marker for the development of arterial atherosclerosis andthrombosis, but it has also been reported that hypoalbuminemia associated withmalnutrition is an independent predictor of some cardiovascular diseases such asCAD[1,4,26]. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is atherosclerosis.
