CRP and juvenile polyposis syndrome: In a study involving 156 patients, Yang et al. reported that the AUCs of ESR and CRP for assisting in diagnosing PJI were 0.822 and 0.901, with sensitivities of 70.2% and 91.2%, respectively, and specificities of 85.9% and 82.7%, respectively, confirming that both the ESR and CRP have good diagnostic performance for PJI [22].
