More specifically, we studied mutations in a panel of genes from the main pathways linked to colorectal cancer: the WNT and NOTCH pathways, the c-myc gene, the PI3K and P53 genes and other cancer-related genes, Nrf2 and the associated Nrf1 and Nrf3 genes, the Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1) gene, and genes involved in cell cycle regulation. Here, KEAP1 is linked to colorectal cancer.
