ACTB and gastric cancer: It has been reported that ACTB is highly expressed in most tumor cells, which is inseparable from the cytoskeletal changes and cell migration it induces, such as in renal cell carcinoma, gastric cancer, breast cancer, etc. However, in esophageal cancer, ACTB has been found to be downregulated at the RNA level, suggesting that ACTB may act as a suppressor in esophageal cancer [140].
