The absence of a clear effect on EZH2 is oppositeto an earlier report that found that EZH2 expressionwas significantly higher in metastatic prostate cancer compared toclinically localized prostate cancer, and in localized prostate cancercompared to benign prostate tissue.57 Thesame holds for the marker NRP1 (Neuropilin 1),58,59 which overexpression usually correlates with tumor aggressiveness, metastasis, and poor prognosis.60 We didnot observe any clear change in the expression of NRP1 in PCa cells due to the presence of bone cells. Here, NRP1 is linked to metastatic prostate carcinoma.
