Deng et al. (2021) demonstrated that Bisphenol A promoted the proliferation of breast cancer cells by inhibiting miR-381-3p expression. Similarly, for the unconfirmed drugs Memantine and Aminohippuric acid associated with MEG3 (see Figure 4D), Memantine was found to induce apoptosis in prostate cancer cells and inhibit cell cycle progression (Albayrak et al., 2018), and Aminohippuric acid was identified as a gene-targeted therapy for ACBD4 in hepatocellular carcinoma (Huang et al., 2022).
