The levels of the chemokines CCL19, CXCL8, CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11, and CXCL17 have been shown to be significantly increased in the saliva or tears of SS patients, and those of the chemokines CCL5, CCL17, CCL21, CCL22, CCL25, CXCL1, and CXCL12 have been shown to be upregulated in the salivary glands of SS patients. Here, CXCL12 is linked to synovial sarcoma.
