ACSL4 and Familial prostate cancer: As expected, CDK12 knockout significantly increased the degradation rate of both ACSL4's nascent mRNA and full‐length mRNA in prostate cancer cells (Figure 4I,J), indicating that CDK12 deficiency downregulates ACSL4 expression levels by influencing the transcriptional selection of ACSL4 by RNA Pol II and decreasing the stability of ACSL4 mRNA.
