These results revealed that SLC34A2 and DEPs such as HMOX1, PRKCB, and SLC30A1 could regulate Ca/P metabolism and homeostasis via the function of parathyroid hormone and calcitonin, and further participate in the occurrence and development of clinical mastitis in dairy cows, providing a theoretical basis for understanding how SLC34A2 and DEPs functions in Ca/P homeostasis in Holstein cows with CM. This evidence concerns the gene PTH and mastitis.
