Since the transition from normal epithelium to intraepithelial neoplasia were found to be associated with CRC patient survival [24], we focused on epithelial cells and found 9 subpopulations, namely CD19 + CD20 + B cells, crypt cells, enterocytes, goblet cells, intermediate, mature colonotypes, proinflammatory, stem-like, and tumor cells (Fig. 2b). The gene discussed is CD19; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
