Median NT-proBNP levels were significantly increased in HFpEF patients (80.9 [95% CI: 50; 119] pg/mL vs. 437.0 [95% CI: 240; 811] pg/mL, P < 0.001, Table 1) and 15% of them suffered from paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (vs. 0% in NF, P = 0.009, Table 1).
