In acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), induction chemotherapy (IC) based on daunorubicin plus cytarabine, with or without other drugs such as FLT3 inhibitors, conjugated anti-CD3 monoclonal antibodies, or purine analogues, is associated with a high overall response rate (ORR), defined as complete remission, complete remission with incomplete haematological recovery (CRi), or a morphological leukaemia-free state (MLFS). Here, FLT3 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
