The reduction of TNF‐α and IL‐1β in microglia is extremely important for delaying the pathological process of AD because microglia‐produced IL‐1β promotes Aβ aggregation and microglia‐produced TNF‐α promotes tau phosphorylation in neurons (Jiang et al., 2021; Wu et al., 2017).
