FXYD5 and neoplasm: After grouping the cells by dysadherin expression, we performed pathway enrichment analysis based on DEGs (adjusted p-values < 1×10-3) between the high and low dysadherin groups, which showed that tumor cells with high dysadherin expression exhibited upregulated migration-related gene signatures, including genes involved in ameboidal-type cell migration and epithelial cell migration (hypergeometric tests adjusted p-values < 0.05, Figure 1C and S1A).
