The results showed that the following genes were significantly overexpressed in renal cell carcinomas with respect to normal renal tissue: ANXA2, CD44, COL6A3, ENO2, GAPDH, HSP90B1, LOX, LRP1, NCAM1, P4HB, SERPINE1, SERPINH1, TGFBI and TIMP1. SPP1 and DCN were significantly downregulated in carcinomas in comparison with normal renal tissue. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINH1 and renal cell carcinoma.
