2013) and conferred shorter relapse-free survival in different malignancies (Bartholomae et al. Feb. 2016). Several studies indicate that ABCC11 gene, encoding multidrug-resistant protein-8, is expressed significantly more in breast cancer (including TNBC) (Yamada et al. Feb. 2013; Xu et al. 2017) and is associated with poor prognosis (Tsyganov et al. 2022; Nedeljković and Damjanović 2019). It has been shown that ABCC11 confers resistance to anthracyclines, taxanes, mitoxantrone, and methotrexate (Sissung et al. Feb. 2010). This evidence concerns the gene ABCC11 and breast carcinoma.
