In the case of 46,XX patients, a single-copy genomic deletion that encompasses the entire NR2F2 gene may result in testicular tissue and atypical external genitalia in some cases, but in others, there may be no evidence of genital anomalies or DSD, despite the presence of other syndromic features (65, 66, 78, 80). This evidence concerns the gene NR2F2 and disorder of sexual differentiation.
