The ECM-binding capacity of EBP-bFGF was detected through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the bioactivity of EBP-bFGF was measured through the proliferative assay of human skin fibroblast cells (HSFCs), the survival of pheochromocytoma cells (PC cells) in vitro and subcutaneous embedding in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene EBP and hereditary pheochromocytoma-paraganglioma.
