Previous research has suggested that oxidative phosphorylation could reduce hepatic fibrosis.51 The gene enrichment of MP3 oxidative phosphorylation hallmark gene set suggested the relative genes including cytochrome c oxidase subunit 5B (COX5B), cytochrome c oxidase subunit 7B (COX7B) and ATP synthase membrane subunit e (ATP5ME) upregulated (Fig. S6F). The gene discussed is ATP5ME; the disease is Hepatic fibrosis.
