Interestingly, our analysis revealed no significant positive association between plasma PINK1 levels and UPDRS (p = 0.226), MMSE (p = 0.302), RBD-HK (p = 0.35), HAMA (p = 0.838), HAMD (p = 0.587), ADL (p = 0.941), disease duration (p = 0.104), and LEDD (p = 0.216) in PD subjects, except age with a U-shape association (p = 0.04; Figure 5). The gene discussed is PINK1; the disease is Parkinson disease.
