HDAC3 has been identified as a crucial epigenetic regulator of inflammatory response in several inflammatory diseases [19–23], Considering the emerging role of macrophages is highlighted as having a critical role in both the initiation and resolution of acute gout [24], it is significant and imperative to study on the role of macrophage-specific HDAC3 deficiency in gouty inflammation to investigate the mechanism of gout development and explore available therapies.
