Urinary insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7 (IGFBP-7), urinary tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (TIMP-2), and serum transgelin levels were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays and evaluated as biomarkers for the prediction of renal impairment in patients with multiple myeloma.
