More importantly, the detection of inflammasome-related proteins in kidney tissue showed that ER could significantly suppress the protein expression of NLRP3 and caspase-1 p20 in the mouse model, suggesting that ER exerts a strong anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation in HUA mice, thereby ameliorating the symptoms of HUA and gout. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and gout.
