Five genes (CLRN1-AS1, GRK4, LINC01929, RP11-368P15.1, RP11-166N6.2) are novel to both AD and FI, and 3 (FERMT2, LRFN2, ZNF652) of them have been previously associated with AD or a family history of AD (Lambert et al., 2013; Marioni et al., 2018; Schwartzentruber et al., 2021; Wightman et al., 2021). The gene discussed is LRFN2; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
