Further analysis revealed a higher frequency of atypical memory B cells (aMBCs) in the peripheral blood of patients without lymph node involvement as well as those with a tumor size greater than 2cm or with estrogen receptor (ER) negative/progesterone receptor (PR) negative tumors, compared with controls (P=0.030, P=0.040, P=0.031 and P=0.054, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and neoplasm.
