By elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor progression and metastasis mediated by FGL1, our study contributes to a better understanding of the molecular pathways involved in post-radiation esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), emphasizing the potential of FGL1/IMPDH1 as targets to mitigate radiation-induced tumor metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene IMPDH1 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
