The introduction of multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate in men with elevated PSA value has substantially facilitated clinical decision-making regarding prostate biopsy and reduced the detection of clinically non-significant PCa defined as International Society of Urological Pathology classification (ISUP) grade  1 [3, 4]. The gene discussed is KLK3; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
