In this study, the NT-proBNP level and LVEDD index in the CHF group were higher than those in healthy controls, and the LVEF index was lower than those in healthy controls, and the NT-proBNP level and LVEDD index in patients with poor prognosis were higher than those with good prognosis, and the LVEF index was lower than those with good prognosis, suggesting that poor prognosis is associated with impaired cardiac function, with abnormal cardiac function being a key contributing factor to unfavorable outcomes.
