TICAM1 and fatty liver disease: Our previous study found that in a 22-week choline-deficient amino acid (CDAA) diet-induced MASH mouse model, TRIF knockout exacerbated liver inflammation in MASH mice by inducing hepatocytes and Kupffer cells to produce CCL3 and CXCL1, recruiting macrophages and neutrophils, while simultaneously alleviating liver steatosis through downregulation of DGAT2 expression in hepatocytes.
