The anti-CEA-specific CAR was constructed by assembling the pGEM-1 plasmid with the cDNAs of the variable heavy-chain (VH) and light-chain (VL) domains of the humanized monoclonal anti-CEA antibody, the CD8α hinge region, and the transmembrane and intracellular domains of CD3ζ.Their findings suggest that anti-CEA-CAR modified NK-92MI cells hold potential for clinical therapy in treating advanced colorectal cancer. Here, CEACAM5 is linked to colorectal cancer.
