MAPK3 and retinoblastoma: In the process of MAPK signal transduction, the phosphorylation of Erk1/2 and MEK1/2 is the key regulatory protein for the activation of the signal pathway, after knocking down LOXL1-AS1 in RB cells, the phosphorylation levels of Erk (p-Erk) and MEK (p-MEK) were significantly decreased, indicating that LOXL1-AS1 positively regulated MAPK signal pathway to promote RB proliferation, invasion and inhibit apoptosis, and the same conclusion was shown in the mouse model of RB xenotransplantation [68].
