Following viral infection, two candidate proteins displayed increased peptide expression and were expected to localize in the cellular membrane: leukocyte surface antigen CD47 (Q08722, FC = 1.15, p = 0.001), and carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 5 (CEACAM5, P06731, FC = 1.14, p = 0.028) (Supplementary Fig. 1b). This evidence concerns the gene CD47 and viral infectious disease.
