Two others, NUCB1 [OR: 5.65, 95% CI: 2.64 to 12.09; PP4: 0.98] and FGFR3 [OR: 2.54, 95% CI: 1.77 to 3.66; PP4: 0.99] were both associated with a higher risk of bladder cancer and were observed to have associations with other cancers, including luminal B breast cancer and lung adenocarcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene FGFR3 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
