C4A, DDX39B, and MICA/B had associations with risk of head and neck cancers of which one, DDX39B, appeared cancer-subtype-specific and was associated with a lower risk of oropharyngeal cancer [OR: 0.24, 95% CI: 0.13 to 0.43; PP4: 0.94]. Here, DDX39B is linked to oropharynx cancer.
