ALB and Hypertension: Comparison of baseline outcomes between stroke and control groups: Differences in hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, alcohol consumption, and a number of biochemical markers, including total protein, albumin, globulin, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and glucose were statistically significant between the two groups (p < 0.05), while the differences in triglycerides and smoking were not statistically significant between the two groups (p > 0.05).
