Recently, a multiscience working group of European researchers used a structured, well‐organized, and comprehensive methodology based on an extensive literature search, prioritization of clinical questions, and grading of the quality of evidence to publish a number of clinical markers, such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) Aβ42, tau protein, and phosphorylated tau protein, which can identify mild cognitive impairment or AD.15 This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and Alzheimer disease.
