The diagnostic efficiency of NIC(VP) (AUC: 0.897, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.816–0.951) was significantly higher than that of INW(AP) (AUC: 0.774; 95% CI: 0.675–0.855) for predicting EGFR mutation status in NSCLC (p = 0.029; Fig. 4). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
